A TRIBUTE TO THE MUSIC OF JOHN DENVER BY MARC ROBERTS On 23th July 2017, we organize ;  my husband and I, a concert with our good friend , the Irish singer- songwriter MARC ROBERTS . Marc became 2nd for Ireland on the Eurovision 1997 , with “ Mysterious Woman” The concert takes place on the 23th July 2017 in GENT (GHENT) BELGIUM on 2100 hour , in the beautiful  concert hall “ SCALA “, Dendermondse Steenweg 263 in GENT. On that evening MARC ROBERTS brings his beautiful “ Tribute to the music of John Denver “ . After touring Ireland and around the globe. Now Marc brings  his show to Belgium . This show takes place on the last day of the street festival in GENT; named : “DE GENTSE FEESTEN”. So we invite you and your friends to come along and have a nice evening out. 29/03/2017	We are ready to open booking for our annual John Denver Weekend! It will take place Nov 3 – 5. 2017 in Hardehausen, which is close to Warburg and Bielefeld. In case you are interested in joining us, please email us at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and we will give you all necessary details. Please make sure to put Weekend 2017 into the subject line, so that nothing will get lost. Booking will close Sept 30, but please contact us as soon as possible so we can get an overview about how many people will come and see if the capacities we have reserved are sufficient. Program is still in planning stage, but we will have lots of sing alongs, a lottery, a paper chase….. friendship and lots of good food will be provided – the only thing you will not get is enough sleep…. 😊
21/02/2017	At the moment, more and more events are being added to the schedule – I am trying my best to keep the list updated! Aspen 2017 Today, for example, I got the exciting news that our very own Chris Liebig is going to play at the Wheeler as Special Guest with the John Denver Project Band on Oct 11 at 1 pm!
11/02/2017	I have updated the page on our club website where I try and summarize all info about Aspen in October in one place. I am determined to keep this as up to date as possible - all links in the event list go to the referring pages on facebook, which offer further info. 07/01/2017	GEMA announced today that "Country Roads" was again number 3 of the most performed songs in Germany 2015 (not a typo - they are a year behind obviously.... :D ) Congrats to John, and of course Bill Danoff and Taffy Nivert!!

Aspen Snowmass in October 2024

As every year since 1998, the "John Denver Week" is planned to take place again this October -- lots of events in memory of John and his music, concerts, sing alongs, hikes, campfires...

Aspen in October 2023 is history, and planning for 2024 is taking place. Dates have been set for Oct. 02 - 07, 2024. There is one big change happening in 2024 - the event was, after the Mountain Chalet Aspen has been sold, moved to Snowmass! 

To get an idea about what the list may look like, you can check out events from older lists (2023 - 2022 - 2021 - 2020 - 2019 - 2018 - 2017 - 2016 - 2015 - 2014 - 2013 - 2012) (links there may be outdated in case the targets have been removed from the net by now. We unfortunately do not have any influence on this.). Please note we are not the ones who organize those events - thus, we are only able to pass on the info we get... :-)
