Some very interesting news from the official John Denver Estate facebook page: "Railroad Earth: The John Denver Letters" is now available. Railroad Earth has composed music for never-released John Denver lyrics, with two songs set for digital release Earth Day, April 22, 2019 and 7” vinyl to be available at music retailers June 2019. While preparing handwritten lyrics of classic songs for display in a 2017 Grammy Museum exhibit, Denver’s management came across notebooks containing poems and ideas for songs that were never Available at digital retailers and streaming platforms now: |

Aspen in October 2020
Update June 13, 2020 - it has been announced that due to the current pandemic situation, most of the Aspen in October 2020 events have been cancelled!
There will, however, be a smaller "Aspen in October" - a list of planned activities can be found HERE.
As every year since 1998, the "John Denver Week" will take place again this October in Aspen -- lots of events in memory of John and his music, concerts, sing alongs, hikes, campfires...
Aspen in October 2019 is history, and planning for 2020 will start eventually. Tentative dates have been set for Oct. 07 - 12, 2020. Detailed info about times and places will be added here as they become available, so please come back to check it out.
To get an idea about what the list may look like, you can check out events from older lists (2019 - 2018 - 2017 - 2016 - 2015 - 2014 - 2013 - 2012) (links there may be outdated in case the targets have been removed from the net by now. We unfortunately do not have any influence on this.). Please note we are not the ones who organize those events - thus, we are only able to pass on the info we get... :-)
